Independent Music Conference needs a new laptop!
If you can't attend IMC09 as an instructor, perhaps you will consider helping us with a pledge?
The IMC is a grass roots educational event designed to assist independent musicians with the extremely daunting tasks of turning their art into an entrepreneurship. Now in our seventh year and tenth event, we've presented very successful IMC events in Philadelphia, Dallas, Charleston, Los Angeles and Northampton.
Earlier this year we became the victim of a robbery in which we lost over $5000.00 worth of important equipment. Most devastating was the loss of our Apple Powerbook Pro, an essential part of the IMC event. The laptop served as our point of purchase sales kiosk, graphics station and database during each IMC, it's unbelievably necessary.
We'd like to raise at least $2000 towards the purchase of a new Powerbook, which we need for IMC09 coming up in August. Your help is MUCH appreciated!!!

--- What is Fundable?
Fundable.com lets groups of people pool money to make purchases or raise funds. Similar to online auctions, Fundable's collection pages are created by people who use the web site. Each page contains a description of how much money needs to be collected and what it will do. Once enough pledges for a collection have been secured, Fundable turns them into real payments and sends the total to the collection's organizer.
If a collection expires before reaching its total in pledges, Fundable deletes all pledges and never charges money.
